Every unique word in the Quran, with meanings in English, Urdu and Pashto. Words are ranked by how often they appear — learn the top 500 words and you will recognise about 75% of the entire Quranic text.
The Quran contains roughly 77,797 words in total, but only 4,832 unique words (lemmas). The rest are repetitions. This is the single most useful fact for anyone learning Quranic Arabic: you do not need to learn tens of thousands of words — you need to learn a few hundred of the right ones.
This dictionary ranks every Quranic word by frequency, so you always know which words give you the most understanding for the least effort. Every word includes its Arabic form, transliteration, trilateral root, part of speech, and meanings in English, Urdu and Pashto.

This means a learner who masters just 500 Quranic words will recognise three out of every four words while reading. That is the difference between reading blindly and reading with understanding.

Notice how many of these are particles and prepositions rather than dramatic theological terms. This is typical of any language — the connective tissue appears most often, and learning it first is what makes a text suddenly readable.

The preposition مِن (min), meaning "from" or "of", appears 3,226 times — more than any other word. The name اللَّه (Allah) is second, appearing 2,699 times.
